Najran University Launches “Maharat” Program in Partnership with the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF)

Najran University, in partnership with the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), has launched the “Maharat” program, which aims to support the training and qualification of male and female students by equipping them with the essential skills needed to enter the labor market. The initiative comes as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance the role of higher education institutions in developing human capital, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

The program is introduced within a strategic collaboration between the university and HRDF to develop essential and professional skills among students through a series of specialized training courses focusing on future skills, modern technologies, communication, teamwork, and workplace innovation.

Najran University explained that the “Maharat” program is part of a set of quality initiatives designed to increase the readiness of graduates for the job market by empowering them with the competencies required across various sectors. The university emphasized that its partnership with HRDF strengthens the integration between the education and labor sectors, providing impactful training opportunities.

The program further aims to support students in building successful career paths by providing them with practical tools and experiences that enhance their competitiveness and meet the evolving needs of the labor market. The university noted that registration for the program will be available through its online platform.
