Maharat Program
Maharat Program is one of the initiatives of the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF). This promising national program aims to develop the skills of employees in the private and non-profit sectors who are registered on the Taqat National Labor Gateway.
The program is delivered in partnership with the Al-Mubdi’oon Center for Studies, Consulting, and Training at King Abdulaziz University. It aims to increase promotion and job stability opportunities for employees, as well as improve work environments in these sectors by bridging the gap between the skills required by the labor market and the current skills of employees.
Program Objectives

Develop employees’ skills according to labor market needs.

Provide employers with qualified national human resources with competitive skills.

Support the labor market by increasing employee retention rates.
Target Audience
Employees currently in the workforce, with a required attendance rate of 70%.
Eligibility Criteria

Must be a Saudi national.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Must be registered on the Jadarah National Employment Platform.

Must be a job seeker.

Beneficiaries are eligible for two training programs: one from general skills and another from professional skills.

Participation in Maharat programs does not affect eligibility for other HRDF-supported programs.

Must sign the electronic declaration and terms and conditions on the unified national employment platform (Jadarah), acknowledging compliance with Maharat Program regulations.
